Judith A. Procopio, Esq.

is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, New York, and New Jersey. She welcomes all cases including those in the areas of education law, elder law, family law and residential and commercial real estate law.

Prior to opening her own firm in her hometown Pittsfield, Massachusetts, Ms. Procopio was an associate attorney at Montalbano, Condon and Frank, P.C. in New City, New York and at the Law Offices of Michael Starvaggi, P.C. in Blauvelt, New York.

Ms. Procopio graduated from Western New England College, Springfield, Massachusetts, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree, magna cum laude in political science with minors in education and sociology. She graduated from Pace Law School, White Plains, New York, earning a Juris Doctor, cum laude, and was a Ranking Scholar. She received numerous scholarship and fellowship awards including the Westchester Women's Bar Association Foundation Scholarship; the Charles H. Revson Law Student Public Interest Fellowship; Merit Scholarship Awards; and the New Rochelle (NY) Bar Association Scholarship. Ms. Procopio has also completed training offered by the Massachusetts Committee for Public Counsel Services including Zealous Advocacy in the District Court and Juvenile Courts Certification Training, Juvenile Law Training and Children and Family Law Trial Panel Certification Training.

Ms. Procopio is an active participant in many community organizations. She is an active member at her church serving on the parish council and finance committee. She has taught as a religious education teacher. In the past, Ms. Procopio has served on the Board of Directors of the Berkshire Historical Society (MA) and the Pearl River (NY) Chamber of Commerce and she has served as a member of Civitan Club of Pittsfield (MA).

Ms. Procopio routinely provides pro bono legal assistance to clients of limited means. Additionally, she is a member of the Berkshire County Bar Association and New York State Bar Association.
